Journeyman Electrician

Seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician; highly skilled, well-trained, experienced licensed electrician with the ability to handle almost any project that involves electricity. This position includes light electrical work on interior and exterior commercial lighting, pole lights, building lights, neon and fluorescent signs.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must hold a current Journeyman Sign Electrician License -or- Journeyman Electrician License.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead in the preparation and installation of wiring and lighting fixture
• Aid in the design and Implementation a variety of different projects
• Following protocol, to ensure safe and accurate work
• Competently represent Beacon to our customers and end users, in a confident and professional manner
• Work effectively as a team member assisting when and where needed
• Assist as requested in training end users or other technical staff.

To be qualified, candidates must:

• Have working knowledge in electrical sign installation and repair
• Be familiar with the electrical sign equipment needed
• Demonstrate problem solving skills when necessary
• Able to troubleshoot on-site dilemmas in a timely manner
• Ability to drive and operate a bucket truck and ladder crane
• Neon & Fluorescent sign experience strongly preferred
• Commercial Lighting experience (including pole lights, building lights, and interior lights)

Minimum Qualifications;

-3 Years sign industry experience

-Capable of working bucket/ladder truck up to 75 feet

-Must be able to lift up-to 75lbs if needed

-Driver's License

-Journeyman Sign Electrician License -or- Journeyman Electrician License
